3 years over in NUS, and I don't know what have I learnt. Seems like everything has been washed down the river, slowly relinquish the grip on the knowledge. Ask me anything about heat transfer, and I will give you the most puzzled look ever. I digress.
So I met the professor in charge of my FYP over this morning. Thinking that it'll only be a informing session on what I have to do, it ended up being a target shooting practice. Well, I'm assigned to study the heat cycle of a pulse detonation engine (PDE). To make make myself look good, prior studies were made so that I need not look like an idiot when being questioned. Little did I know, it wasn't sufficient enough. A completely clueless mofo was formed after being cross-examined on my knowledge about the most fundamental principals of shockwaves, heat cycles, and even boundary layers. None of em, I can confidently retort. At least I heard Prof. Teo commenting 4-5 times: "Aiyoo, how can you not know this? I studied this 15 years ago and the memory is still crystal clear in ma head." Discouraging I know. =(
I don't have much of a choice now but to flip back those dusty textbooks to regain some of those knowledge which are lost. As interesting as the project could be, it ain't easy having to start back from square one so that I can work on it. But hey, life isn't interesting if its layed down nicely for you, right? That means, for the next few weeks, I'll be "revising" after work. Woohoo, no more dance, gaming, reading and watching movies. =(
Amount of books I have to down currently : 5
Progress: 0%
Worse of all, I still have rag, indian production and dancetitude to commit to. Trying to shroud myself from the thoughts of me not being able to handle that kind of tight schedule. Tommy shall strive on. Rawr. Azaa azaa fighting! Lol. I'm infected.
